Our process revolves around your fastener component’s application and performance requirements. Decades of engineering and manufacturing expertise drive our feedback to ensure we’re meeting all your specs.

Our team thoroughly reviews the project design using our library of proven designs. This allows us to suggest changes that will ensure we meet all specifications.

In addition to meeting the safety force requirements, we take the extra step to understand how the part is assembled. We design our test plans to match real-world application.

Ammex prides itself in the ability to optimize tooling to get everything you need out of your part. For instance, our engineers understand what a change in gate location will do to improve product performance. It’s these small details and years of experience that set us apart from the rest.

We pride ourselves on 100% on-time delivery here at Ammex Plastics. Once you validate that the parts meet spec, we’ll move into production.

Why Ammex Plastics?

Ammex Plastics and Echo Engineering have been investing heavily in the automotive fastening market. We’re doing that by

  • hiring plastics and process engineers

  • and purchasing new testing and measuring devices.

We are experienced in designing and manufacturing a variety of different automotive clips. They’re used on everything from HVAC and brake lines to harnesses and many other applications.

With Echo and Ammex, you’ll be working with a team experienced in bringing new clips to life based on performance requirements set by the tier-1 or OEM manufacturer.

This is why we’ve brought a lot of testing in-house at our headquarters in Indianapolis. We want to speed up our process and develop a more comprehensive understanding of automotive fastening technologies.
